“Elemental music is never just music.
It’s bound up with movement, dance and speech, and so it is a form of music in which one must participate, in which one is involved not as a listener but as a co-performer”.
- Carl Orff

About the Pedagogy
Orff-Schulwerk
Montessori Music with Amelia is rooted in the Orff-Schulwerk pedagogy, which is used internationally as the standard in Montessori education. The philosophy emphasizes the integration of music, movement, singing and speech as a whole. Just as the Montessori classroom is the “prepared environment” for students, the Orff-Schulwerk approach creates an inviting, age and ability-appropriate space for children to explore, create and connect to music
Amelia has completed
